REV. VINCENT M. JOHNSON, serves at the Pastor of Unity Fellowship Church of Charlotte. Born and raised in Cincinnati, OH, Pastor Vincent has been in church all his life. An accomplished organist and music director, Pastor V started in ministry as Minister of Music at the New Jerusalem Baptist Church at the age of 17. It was evident at a young age there was a greater calling on Pastor Vincent’s life. Continuing in music ministry, Pastor V served many churches and denominations during college and mortuary school prior to accepting the call to preach. In 2007, Pastor Vincent was ordained an Elder and continued to work and seek truth in the love of God for all. In 2010, Pastor Vincent was offered a professional position in Charlotte, NC. Trusting in God, Pastor V relocated to Charlotte, and history is still being written. Since being in Charlotte, Pastor Vincent has assisted many churches musically, served and assisted as Elder and Executive Pastor at the Movement Church of Charlotte, prior to being called to Pastor Unity Fellowship of Charlotte. Pastor Vincent has a heart for people, he is a licensed funeral director and embalmer in Ohio and North Carolina. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mortuary Science from Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science, serves as Chairman of The New Generation of Funeral Service Practitioners Association, Inc, and plans to attend seminary in the fall of 2021. Pastor Vincent lives in Charlotte with his partner Jeremy and their Pitt, Honey Marie. His favorite scripture is Proverbs 3:5-6 and favorite hymn is “Great is thy Faithfulness”.
